Trillium has something unique -
a travel trailer designed for today's small SUV's, mini vans, and compact cars.
Even though first built and designed in the late 60's, you'd
think it was designed for the 21st century. What
makes our trailer so special?...Everything about it.
The Trillium is like a
nutshell, (or an 'egg'). It is a true unibody. The upper and lower halves are
fiberglassed together to form the solid body which is dust-proof and
water-proof. By using fiberglass inside & out, this allows
the trailer to be extremely durable, easy to clean, and
maintain. Of course, the big benefit is in it's light weight
and aerodynamics. This gives it little wind-resistance
unlike
big, heavy conventional trailers. It has excellent performance
in cross winds, or when passing the big rigs. We think it has
the most stable ride of any trailer in the RV industry.
Structure:
NONE of the fiberglass structure is joined
mechanically. All structural parts are 100% bonded to each other.
There is no need to worry about screws and rivets holding the
trailer together years down the road. Additionally, many
trailers have the wood floor exposed on the underside of the
trailer. Trillium's floor is not exposed. It's
like a boat hull - and, yes, it probably would float.
Finish: You never have to worry about
the cost of keeping your Trillium looking its best. It never
needs painting since the color is permanently molded into the
body. One light coat wax each year will keep it's finish
bright. The interior has a vinyl covered, foam cell
insulation. This makes it easy to clean, and won't absorb
odors. It will keep you cooler in the summer, and warmer in
the winter.
We use only the best, high
quality brand
name appliances. Trillium is hand crafted, using state of the
art materials to achieve the best look & finish. And, we back
up our claims with an industry leading 2/5 year warranty.

A
word about tow vehicles (as
requested by many Vintage Trillium owners) Buying
the correct tow vehicle is not as easy as it seems. Everyone
you talk to will have a different opinion. After all, everyone
loves their own car - that's why they bought it. Here is the
best objective advice we can give....
The most important consideration is - safety for yourself and others.
The only way to be assured of that is to go by what the Car Manufacturer says -
meaning - as stated in the vehicle's owner's manual..
No car salesman, RV salesman, other owners, previous owners, uncles, or
mechanics, etc. can provide an accurate figure of the
vehicle's towing capacity. There are far too many variations of engines, transmissions, drive train type,
wheel base, HD options, coolers, brakes, etc. for anyone to have an accurate
- on the spot - answer.
If you're buying a used car, be sure to look for the owner's manual.
If you're buying a new car, not only can you look at the owner's manual, but there is usually a chart in the showroom which will give you a quick summary. (You should still look in the owner's manual.)
Finally - and maybe most important - we all know that these
days everyone gets sued when there's trouble. You can be the most
cautious, best driver, and be involved in a bad accident which is not your fault.
Don't get caught with a tow vehicle too light for the trailer.
Car manufacturers spend
a lot of money on engineering, testing, (and lawyers). Take
their tow rating to heart.
Keep the highways safe. Tow with the right rig. And remember, this is one area where bigger is better.
